The DATEX II Exchange mechanism uses a supplier identification consisting of country and national identifiers - but there doesn't seem to be an international or per-country registry of national identifiers.

We're producing a device that outputs DATEX II V2, ready for when the standard comes into use. Therefore it would be useful for us if procedures were put into place so that we can be assured that our identifier will be unique.

Note: Unfortunately, I was unable to enter this into the issue tracking system.

National Identifiers

Tony,

I agree that a registry for such identifiers is important (at least on a per country level). Nevertheless, so far the DATEX Technical Group did not have a request to deal with such registration, i.e. countries have preferred to create their own schemes and/or registries. Nevertheless, it is you requirement and you should feel free to bring it to the attention of the DATEX organisation for consideration, therefore I find it disappointing that you had problems with the issue tracker. Can you provide details so that I can trigger the site administration?

Regards,

Josef Kaltwasser

Issues

Josef, thanks for your reply.

When I select Issues->Info from the menu bar, it says "Issue tracking facility available only for registered users".

I'm assuming that I need access to Issue->Info, so that I can raise a new issue?

Also, in the "Issues->List", if I select "subscribe" I get the following error:

"Subscribe user warning: Not unique table/alias: 'n' query: SELECT s.nid, n.title, s.level, p.uri FROM project_subscriptions s INNER JOIN node n ON n.nid = s.nid INNER JOIN project_projects p ON n.nid = p.nid LEFT JOIN node n ON s.nid = n.nid WHERE ((n.moderate != 1 OR n.uid = 145)) AND ( n.type = 'project_project' AND n.status = 1 AND s.uid = 145 )ORDER BY n.title in /prd/datex/web/httpd/DATEX/drupal/sites/datexnew/modules/project_issue/includes/subscribe.inc on line 62."

Regards

Tony
